Packing For a Weekend Away

Packing For a Weekend Away

Packing For a Weekend Away

We might all be a little out of practice when it comes to packing for a weekend away, but as the holiday season is upon us it’s time to dust off those suitcases and start preparing our packing lists.

Whatever you have planned, the ultimate goal when packing for a trip is to get the maximum amount of outfits using the minimum amount of space. We’re talking pieces that can be worn over and over again in multiple different ways.

We've put together our packing list for warm weekends ahead, including hardworking separates, versatile dresses and of course accessories to elevate and change up our looks.

The Packing List

Road Tripping

When we’re hitting the road, we like to keep it simple and comfort always comes first. A classic pair of denim paired back with a simple tee and we’re on our way. Oh, and don’t forget a light layer to keep you cosy for those roadside stops.

Afternoon Drinks

Nothing puts us more into holiday mode than slipping straight from the beach to afternoon cocktails. This is where we love a simple one-piece that can double as a top when layered with linen pants and some simple jewellery.

The Packing List

 To the Beach

Black swimwear will forever be our go-to for being flattering and forever chic. One that we reach for season after season is the Matteau Square Maillot and we like to throw over our Deiji Studios linen sets when heading down to the beach. The best part, these linen sets double as our lounge and sleepwear so they really tick the versatility box!

 A Bite to Eat

If we’re heading out to a local restaurant we want a look that is slightly more elevated yet still feels easy (we are on holidays after all!) The Classic Nineties tank by Matteau is the perfect staple for dressing up or down, and we’re loving the ivory colourway paired back with our white denim.

The Packing List

 Morning Coffee Run

Our morning coffee run calls for easy wearing separates, and an essential white tee paired with loose linen pants fits the bill. A lightweight knit thrown over our shoulders means we’re prepared for whatever the morning brings.

 Long Lunching

A breezy floral dress paired back with simple jewellery is the perfect outfit for a long lunch, and ticks our boxes of being easy-wearing yet elegant. This season’s Tiered Low Back Sundress by Matteau is a showstopper, with a subtle floral print that we know we’ll love for summer’s to come.
