When we decided to introduce activewear to The UNDONE, it felt like a very natural progression. Many of our customers are already wearing and loving activewear for all occasions – not just in the gym. We’re so excited to offer a curated edit from our favourite active brands, P.E Nation and The Upside and sat down with P.E co-founder, Pip Edwards to find out more about what we should be wearing and when.
We know P.E Nation is mostly known for its bright and bold styles & colourways, but at The UNDONE, we're *unsurprisingly* drawn to the more simplistic, minimalistic and monochrome pieces. How do we still pack a punch in P.E when we're wearing a more streamlined colour palette?
The whole vision behind P.E Nation is that it’s the solution for all women. The pieces are developed to get you through your day with minimal effort and maximum comfort whilst being fully functional and fashion approved. When wearing a more streamlined colour palette the key is to layer!! Pair your active pieces back with denim, fashion tees and killer trainers.
What's your favourite piece for the season and why?
The Strike Short!! So versatile and can be dressed up or down depending on what you have on that day.
Activewear has become a core category within the lifestyle of the Australian woman - not just for working out, but for dressing in comfort in all situations. Talk us through a few ways to wear the Strike Short.
The Strike Short looks amazing paired back with casual designer pieces for that effortless/cool look. It's all about layering and outsde of the gym, these shorts can be paired back with stand-out outerwear pieces like a blazer, a denim jacket, or a big puffer!
We all know working out can change our entire mood - and you've openly said Kirsten King at FluidForm has changed your life - do you work out in the morning or the evenings, and why?
I always make time to work out in the morning – it’s my non-negotiable as it sets me up right for the day. Once I get into the office, my day is super busy with meetings and every day is different depending if I’m shooting, strategy planning or doing press, so I like having my time in the morning where I can focus on myself!
What do you wear when you want to feel powerful?
Sharp shoulders… and something TIGHT!
Post-workout brunch?
Choc minted smoothie from Cali Press!
Long lunch with the girls?
Icebergs in Bondi Beach.
