5 ways to style white linen pants

A pair of linen pants are a top wardrobe essential for year-round effortless dressing. Bonus when they have a high elasticated waistband, long straight leg, and hit the mark of both chic and comfortable.

While we can think of endless ways to style these classic straight leg pants, here a five ways we love to style the ultimate white linen pants, the Pull On Pant from Matin.

1. Layered with a tank and shirt

We love the versatility of layering an open button up shirt over a tank, and going with a monochrome black and white pairing gives the outfit some really nice depth.

When working with a layered look, we like to work out which item is going to be the looser layer (in this case, the open shirt) and then go for a more slim fitting option for the other layers. This St. Agni top made from 100% Tencel also adds interesting texture to the look.

2. Over swimwear

Nothing says summer better than linen thrown over swimwear. The perfect look for afternoon drinks on a summer holiday, or for a long lunch after a morning at the beach.

We also love this look for a weekend away, as we're forever trying to get the most wear possible out of all our packed items!

3. With a classic trench

A trench can elevate any outfit, and we love the neutral tones of a camel trench layered over an all white look. Keeping a tonal base really lets the trench act as the hero piece of this outfit. Transeasonal dressing at its best!

4. Paired with a long sleeve tee

Who says linen has to be reserved for the warmer months? Paired with a classic long sleeve top, your white linen pants will transition seamlessly into the cooler months of Autumn and Winter.

We're especially loving light based neutrals in winter as an alternative to gravitating to darker colours, and this oak coloured long sleeve top from St. Agni is such a beautiful warm colour, whilst still staying true to our favourite neutral colour palette.

5. White on white

An all white colour palette will forever be a go-to for when we want to feel and look fresh during the warmer months.

Pairing our white linen pants with our ultimate wardrobe essential, a classic button up shirt, elevates the look and transforms the linen pants into a dressier style. The shirt styled loosely over the pants is perfect for something that is relaxed yet put together.
